Terms and conditions
The rules for using Settled, written so they make sense. If anything isn’t clear, ask us.

01Who we are
Settled (settledapp.io) is a service run by Ferran Torrecillas, tax ID (NIF) 47727064V, Carrer de Pere III, 13, 08915 Badalona (Barcelona), Spain. You can reach us at hola@settledapp.io.
In these terms, “Settled”, “we” or “our” means the owner. “Artist” is the tattoo artist or studio using the dashboard. “Client” is the tattooed person following the healing program from the link or QR their artist gives them.
02What Settled is
A tool that lets artists stay with their clients while a tattoo heals: the artist creates a session, gives the client a QR or link, and the client follows a 30-day program in the browser with daily tasks, check-ins and progress photos. The artist sees how healing is going, can reply to check-ins and keep finished heals in their gallery. No app download needed.
03Accepting these terms
By joining the beta, creating an account or using the dashboard, you accept these terms as an artist. If you accept them on behalf of a studio, you confirm you are allowed to.
Clients accept them, as far as they apply to them (sections 6, 8 and 13), by opening and using their program.
The dashboard is for professionals aged 18 or over. Anyone tattooed by an artist can use a healing program; if the client is a minor, they do so with the permission of their legal guardian.
04The beta
Settled is in beta. During the beta, access is free and includes Pro features. Being a beta, there may be bugs, feature changes or outages, and some parts may change or go away without notice.
When paid plans arrive, we’ll email you at least 30 days in advance and explain what each plan includes. We will never charge you without you choosing and accepting a paid plan. If you don’t pick one, you stay on the free plan with its limits.
05Your account
- You log in with your email (sign-in link) or Google. Use an email only you can access.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone got in without permission, tell us.
- Your profile details (name, studio, Instagram) must be real: your client sees them in their program.
06Settled is not medical advice
Healing programs are general tattoo-care information. They do not replace a doctor’s opinion and do not diagnose anything.
If the client has a fever, pain that gets worse, pus, spreading redness, an allergic reaction or anything that worries them, they should see a doctor or go to the emergency room, not wait for the artist’s reply or the app. The warning signs in the program are a guide, not a complete list.
Instructions and texts customised by the artist are the artist’s own. Settled does not review or validate them.
07Your part as an artist
- You are responsible for the content you put in Settled: protocols, daily texts, notes and replies to your clients. It must be accurate, not misleading and not infringe anyone’s rights.
- Before creating a session, tell your client you’ll use Settled to follow their healing and what you’ll see (their check-ins and the photos they upload).
- Only enter what’s needed: a first name or nickname is enough. Don’t store health details you don’t need.
- You may only share a client’s photos outside Settled if they said yes in their program, and never with their name. If they change their mind, stop using them.
- Use Settled only for aftercare, not to send advertising to your clients.
08If you are a client
- Your link is personal: anyone who has it can see your program. Don’t share it. If you lose it, ask your artist.
- Your artist sees your check-ins, notes and photos. Only they can share your photos, if you allow it at the end, and your name never appears. You can withdraw that permission anytime by writing to your artist or to hola@settledapp.io.
- Only upload photos of your tattoo. Don’t upload photos of other people or intimate content.
- Remember section 6: if in doubt about your health, see a doctor.
09Client data
Client data (name, tattoo, check-ins, notes and photos) belongs to the artist and their client. The artist is the data controller and Settled acts as data processor (Art. 28 GDPR). By accepting these terms, the artist and Settled agree that Settled:
- processes that data only to provide the service and following what the artist does in the dashboard;
- does not sell it, does not use it for advertising and does not share it, except with the providers in section 10;
- protects it with reasonable measures (private access, photos in non-public storage, unguessable links);
- tells the artist without delay about any security breach affecting their data;
- helps the artist respond if a client exercises their rights (access, erasure, etc.);
- deletes the data when the artist deletes the session or their account, unless the law requires keeping it.
10Your data, providers and cookies
As an artist, we store your email, name, studio, Instagram, settings and the notifications you turn on. We use them to give you access, run the service and write to you about your account and Settled. The legal basis is the contract you accept with these terms. We keep them while you have an account and delete them when you leave.
We use these providers, which process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, sign-in and photos), Vercel (website hosting), Loops (emails) and Cloudflare (domain and visit statistics). Some may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
We only use technical cookies: your session and the language you choose. Visit statistics on the public website come from Cloudflare, without cookies, and are never loaded in the dashboard or in client programs.
You can request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction or portability of your data by writing to hola@settledapp.io. If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
11Content and ownership
The website, app, design, default texts and the Settled brand are ours. You may not copy them or use them outside the service without permission.
What you upload stays yours (or your client’s, for their photos). You only give us the permission needed to store and show it within the service. We will never use your photos, your clients’ photos or your texts in Settled advertising without asking you first, in writing.
12What’s not allowed
- Using Settled for anything illegal, misleading or harmful to others.
- Uploading offensive content, content that isn’t yours, or other people’s content without their permission.
- Trying to access other accounts or programs, bypass limits or attack the service.
- Copying, reselling or automating the service without an agreement with us.
13Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Settled working well and without interruptions, but we can’t guarantee it, especially in beta. Notifications or emails may be delayed or not arrive.
We are not responsible for how a tattoo heals or for medical decisions, for what artists write to their clients, or for uses of Settled that break these terms. In any case, our liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer if you have them.
14Leaving and suspension
You can stop using Settled whenever you want. To delete your account, write to hola@settledapp.io from your email: we delete it, with your sessions, check-ins and photos, within 30 days. If you want to keep anything, download it first.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk. Unless it’s urgent, we’ll tell you first. If we ever shut Settled down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can save your content.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we’ll email you at least 15 days before it applies. If you keep using Settled afterwards, you accept the new version; if you don’t agree, you can leave.
16Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If there’s a dispute, we’ll first try to sort it out by talking. If that’s not possible, the courts of Barcelona will have jurisdiction, unless you are a consumer, in which case the courts of your place of residence will.
